His career spans over 30 years in Human Resource Management and People Development working with some of the largest and most successful organisations across the globe.

From Aerospace to Automotive and most recently Analytical Sciences he has successfully developed the cultures of organisations to enable them to get the best from their people by creating work environments that engage, communicate, develop and support all employees to be able to contribute and be the best at what they do best.

Simon is registered practitioner for the Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and Occupational Psychology assessments to BPS Occupational Ability and Personality standards, these are just some of the tools he uses in his coaching and training.

Butterfly Coaching and Development is his opportunity to help organisations and individuals to develop and grow to become what and who they were meant to be.

Simon lives in Barrowford in East Lancashire with his family (Janet, his wife, Colin the Border Collie and Beryl and Minnie their two cats). He loves the outdoors, keeping fit and cooking along with attempting to learn to play the guitar…A journey not a destination…

Lisa Clarke has spent her career in Coaching, training and development.

She and Simon met in 1998 when he joined local legendary pie makers Holland’s Pies as HR Manager. They worked together their for over 7 years and since then have worked and collaborated on a range of projects and roles.

Lisa now works at Pendleside Hospice, as their volunteer co-ordinator. She is also part of the team at Butterfly Coaching and apart from being the most empathetic coach you will meet she is also the one that keeps the team motivated when the world appears to be falling apart, in other words Simon needs help!

Lisa is a lifelong Burnley resident where she has her family and wide network of friends and relatives.
